A walkaround check is a crucial safety procedure that must be performed
on all coaches before each journey. This procedure ensures that the
vehicle is in a safe condition and free from defects that could
jeopardize the safety of passengers and drivers, while also fulfilling
statutory and regulatory requirements.
Walkaround check templates can be customized and adjusted to ensure that
the appropriate checks are conducted for each vehicle in your fleet.
Once a check is completed, it is saved and stored for future reference,
accessible through the website. Additionally, a PDF copy of the checks
can be emailed to the driver if necessary, allowing them to provide
evidence of performing their walkaround checks and correctly identifying
and documenting any defects if required, such as for roadside
inspections.
