How to make a Driver Inactive

Drivers that have been created in PHCloud are not able to be permanently deleted. This is for historical purposes. We can however mark them as inactive so that they can no longer be scheduled.

Any driver that has been marked as inactive but is still scheduled for future jobs will still be associated with those jobs.

Marking a driver as inactive can be easily done by following the steps below:

Select Resources from the Navigation Pane (see fig 1).

fig 1

As soon as you click on Resources, this option will expand to give you 3 options 'Vehicles', 'Drivers' and 'Others'.  For this article, we will be selecting Drivers (see fig 2).

Once you have clicked Drivers in the Resource Navigation, the main window will load the drivers' page (see fig 3).

By default, any driver(s) that are marked as not active will be hidden from view. If you would like to view these drivers(s) then please click on the Show Inactive switch (see fig 3)

Now that you are in the driver's section, you will just need to click on the driver that you would like to mark as inactive. Doing so will then open a new driver edit page (see fig 4)

Once you are in the driver edit window, to make the driver inactive, untick the 'Active' check box (last option on the right in fig 4) and then click on the 'Save Driver' button at the bottom centre of this window.
