How to Clone a Route Template

Cloning a route template is a simple process. When you use this tool you will create a route based on cloning an existing route template. This included includes any point groups, routes, feeders and all pickup points associated with the route template.

Click on the “Routing” button (see fig 1).

Now select “Update” in the routing menu (see fig 2).

Once you are in the “Update” window, you should see a list of templates. By default, the template style is set to “Interchange”(see fig 3). If this is blank, then select “Linear” (see fig 3). This will then show all the point to point templates

Now highlight the template name from the list shown in the left-hand section and then click on the "Clone" (see fig 3) button.

You will now be asked to enter a “Route Name”(See fig 4) name and then click on “OK”(see fig 4).

Once you have done this, the route will have been cloned. The Update window can then be safely closed. If you need to make any changes to this new template, then you can do so by going into the Templates window.
