Adding and Maintaining Web Brochure Requests

Web Brochure Requests

This article references the brochure request feature in the customer account section. If your brochure request module is located somewhere else, this tutorial will not apply.
Logged in customers get the option to request brochures through the accounts section. These are linked from settings within /admin. Head to the area below and click 'ADD NEW':

Information

  1. Data to Link From– The back office system you are using
  2. Brochure Name to Display– The name of the brochure as it will appear to customers. If you use t28 this has to match the name of the brochure saved in t28. If you use t3 this will just be the display name
  3. Brochure ID– This only applies for t3 customers and is used to link the brochure to the one stored in t3. It uses the brochure ID which can be found in t3. If you need help locating this, please see the section further down this article
Click 'SAVE' and your brochure will appear on the brochure requests section. You can test this by logging in as a customer and requesting one yourself, then heading into your t28/t3 system to see if the request has pulled through. If it hasn't, check the name if you're using t28 and check the ID if you're using t3.

Brochure ID (t3 only)

To find the Brochure ID, head to your t3, click 'Brochures'  along the top menu and then 'Brochures'  in the new window. This brings up a list of your brochures. In here, find your brochure:

If the columns are too narrow (see above example) you can expand them like so:

The ID to link to WebRes in the above example is 83, as displayed in the 'Id' column. IDs will vary depending on the amount of brochures you have, and will be unique to each brochure.
